This position is responsible for completing a variety of capital facilities construction projects both interior and exterior building rehabilitation at the three General Aviation airports. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, with preferred experience in skilled trades across various disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and facilities. Additionally, the candidate should have experience leading the daily activities of a workgroup.
The Service Plumber Trainee position offers a comprehensive opportunity for individuals to engage in various aspects involving installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water lines, pumps, and underground water and sewer lines. Trainees should demonstrate proficiency in most of the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) required for the role. Within a 12-month duration, a trainee will undergo a combination of on-the-job technical training, and a formalized plumbing training course. The trainee will progress to a Journeyman level, ultimately paving the way for their promotion to the position of Multitrades Worker III- Service Plumber.
Pay Range:$23.71-$25.00 per hour based on experience

This includes various tasks such as managing waste disposal routes, operating sweepers, executing asphalt and concrete repairs, addressing fencing issues, and performing both large and small-scale tractor mowing. The role extends to tasks like chemical applications, FDOT bridge repairs, and overseeing signage installation and upkeep at Tampa International Airport. This position will require non-standard working hours, current shift is Saturday-Tuesday 10:00a - 8:30p and subject to change.
