Vehicles may pull up to the Departures area in front of the Main Terminal when actively unloading passengers and luggage. No vehicles may be left unattended when dropping off passengers. Unattended vehicles will be towed immediately. If you want to accompany your departing passengers inside the Main Terminal, consider using the Short Term Garage. Parking under one hour is free. For additional rate information visit our parking page.

Security measures restrict access beyond the Main Terminal shuttle lobbies to ticketed passengers only. However, airlines may grant permission for persons with special needs to be accompanied by a healthcare assistant or guardian. If you want to accompany a special-needs guest to or from the gate, see a representative at the airline ticket counter for assistance.
Picking Up
-
Bag claim curbsides are for active loading only. You should not approach the Arrivals area until your party is waiting on the curbside. No vehicles may be left unattended. Unattended vehicles will be towed immediately. To avoid circling the Airport, consider parking and waiting in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot until your passengers have arrived and claimed their luggage. Have your guest call you on your cell phone when they are waiting outside, then proceed to the Main Terminal. The Lot offers free WiFi, restrooms and flight information.
You also might want to consider using the Short Term Parking Garage. Parking under one hour is free.
Blue Express Curbside
Creating a seamless, streamlined experience for TPA passengers who don’t need to check bags at Ticketing or stop at Baggage Claim. Follow the Blue Departures or Arrivals signs, then use the left lane to go Express!
