Trenton

Located in Mercer County, Trenton is the capital of New Jersey. Mercer County was at the heart of the American Revolution. Battlefields and monuments can be found in every corner of Mercer, including Washington Crossing State Park, which marks the place where General George Washington led his troops to victory on that fateful Christmas night in 1776. The county is also home to several colleges and universities, including Princeton University.
