The first step in seeking business opportunities with the Authority is to register as a supplier in the Supplier Registration Database through a simple, online process.
The benefits of registration include the opportunity to receive e-mail notifications of Authority solicitations and contract opportunities when advertised.
In addition to being used by the Authority to notify suppliers of business opportunities, the Supplier Registration Database is used to obtain pricing for goods and services and collect basic information on potential suppliers to facilitate greater supplier diversity. The database also can be used by businesses seeking to partner with each other as prime contractors or subcontractors.
Information in the Supplier Registration Database, with the exception of Federal Identification Numbers or Foreign Tax Identification Numbers, is accessible by the public. A supplier's Taxpayer Identification Number or Foreign Tax Identification Number is used as a unique identifier and is not viewable by public users of the database. For this purpose, "Foreign" is defined as a business that is incorporated under the laws of a nation other than the United States.
