More About PublicVue

PublicVue is the Airport's tool for filing noise complaints and/or viewing near real-time flight tracks of aircraft operating around Tampa International Airport. To access PublicVue, please click here.

To file a complaint, please click on ‘Complaint’ on the upper left portion of the PublicVue homepage. If a resident is not already registered with this system, the process is fast and secure and will expedite the process for filing future complaints online through this application by retaining the information used when registering an account. If a resident would prefer not to provide an address and phone number, Harris Corp., the provider of PublicVue has instructed the Airport to advise residents to please input the following information in those fields:

Address: UNDISCLOSED
Phone Number: 555-555-5555

Note: Without an address, some features of PublicVue may not function properly and the Noise Office will not be able to accurately investigate a noise complaint. Such complaint(s) without location information may go unanswered, though complaints will always be logged.

To track flights operating around the airport, please click on ‘Flight Tracking’ on the upper left portion of the PublicVue homepage. Please note that, for security reasons, the flight tracking data is 10 minutes delayed.

Florida has a very broad public records law that the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (HCAA) must comply with. Under Florida law, communications, e-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information provided to the HCAA Noise Office or submitted through the HCAA online complaint system are public records. If you do not want this information to be maintained by HCAA or through the complaint management database maintained by HCAA’s noise office software provider, Harris Corp., and potentially released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to the HCAA Noise Office or register with the online complaint system. Instead, you may contact the HCAA Noise Office by phone at (813) 870-7843. However, any information provided by phone may be logged and may be subject to disclosure on a public records request.
