On board our 20 passenger minibus we will take you on the service roads to see and hear about:
- Airport Security Enhancements
- Airfield Maintenance
- Air Cargo
- Fire Exercise Training Facility
- Fuel Farm
- Aircraft Maintenance Hangars
- Hawker Beechcraft Services, Inc.
- Bomb Search Area
You will learn about the Landing System, Runways, Taxiways and look at planes landing and taking off right next to you. You will tour the Fire Station, learn from the firefighters details about their job and take a close look at the Special Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicles.
Your guide will talk about different jobs/aviation related careers available at the Airport.
Airport tours are tailored to meet the special needs (learning disabilities and wheelchair users, for example), specific interests (such as aviation related careers) or academic level of any group. All groups are welcome!
Details
Tours are offered 7 days per week and last approximately 1 hour. The maximum number of participants we can accommodate on our tour bus is 20. However, arrangements can be made for larger groups. The minimum touring age is 5 years old. Chaperones are required for all student groups.
The Best Part:
The tour is free! There is free parking for commercial vehicles (i.e. school bus)! Free Airport Souvenirs are also provided to everyone in the group!
